Poland. With a cabinet full of kayak freestyle trophies, Poland’s Tomasz Czaplicki (that’s Cha-plick-ee) is a quiet powerhouse of the world freestyle scene. In his carbon freestyle kayak Tomasz is an explosive aerial force to be reckoned with, and anybody who saw the World Freestyle finals will know that although he didn’t get the gold, Tomasz’s loops were the biggest most of us had ever seen. As charming and approachable as he is talented in a kayak, Tomasz can be found on the road throughout the spring and summer seasons, competing, paddling, and generally going bigger than everybody else.
